Victor Fire along with Farmington Fire under M.A.B.A.S. were dispatched to the Victor highway barn for smoke from the structure. 270 on scene reported heavy smoke from the recycling building and requested a 2nd alarm bringing a ladder plus a pumper from Fishers, and a ladder and Fast Team from Egypt. Once inside crews found a large roll-off dumpster burning. Using one 2 1/2" plus two 1 3/4" lines the fire was knocked down and the dumpster was pulled from the structure. The fire was declared under control in 20 minutes with only smoke damage to the structure. Farmington call back in service at 00:01, East Bloomfield Fire provided a Fill-in to Victor.

Farmington and Victor Fire were toned out under M.A.B.A.S. for smoke in a residential home. Farmington 832 and Victor 2711 responded with full crews. 803 arrived on scene and reported nothing showing on "A" side of a large two story residential. The interior crew reported no smoke visible, but a sulfur odor was detected. A thorough investigation found no apparent cause, later a small child admitted to playing with matches and sparklers in his room hiding the remains under boxes in his closet. Units back in service at 12:45.

Farmington was dispatched to fill-in at Macedon's Fire Hall, as they had responded mutual aid to Macedon Center for a structure fire. Rescue pumper 812 responded with a crew of 4. Farmington called back in service at 15:16.

Victor Fire was toned out for an automatic fire alarm at the Victor ICF home, with a back-up call reporting visible smoke in the basement.Farmington was then toned out under Victor's box alarm for 1 engine and manpower. Victor 2701 on location reported a haze of smoke and established command, 2703 operations. Crews from Victor ladder 2781, engines 2731, 2711 stretched a line and conducted and investigation, while Farmington 812 crew staged a manpower and mechanical ventilation.A basement appliance overheated and was secured by Victor crews. Farmington Fire was toned out for a Fed Ex truck off the road at Exit 44 of the New York State Thruway. Rescue pumper 811 and 812 responded with full crews. 812 arrived on scene reported a tractor trailer jack knifed on the west bound on ramp. 805 assumed command and reported a fuel leak, no injuries and 811 to stand by at Station 2. The New York State D.E.C. was requested to the scene, as up to 100 gallons of diesel fuel was spilled. 812 stayed on scene till 21:00 assisting the Thruway Authority maintenance crews, D.E.C., New York State Police until this truck was secured and towed. In the mean time, 811 handled 3 calls, and automatic alarm, tree down in the road and wires down as 2 thunderstorms moved through the area. Farmington call back in service at 21:20.

Farmington Fire was called out for wires arcing in a tree at Woodland Court Mobile Home Park. 80 arrived on scene reporting primary wires plus tree limbs burning, and requested RG&E to the scene. Pumper rescue 812 responded with a full crew and stood-by for RG&E assisting them with lighting as they cut away the burning limbs. Farmington called back at 03:06.

Farmington fire was requested: one engine to fill-in at the City of Canandaigua Fire Department Station One. Canandaigua was working a structure fire on Lakeshore Blvd. and was assisted at the scene by Crystal Beach, Hopewell and the Canandaigua V.A. Farmington called back in service at 05:38. 80 plus rescue pumper 812 responded.

Farmington with Victor Fire were dispatched under MABAS for smoke in a double wide at Northrup Park. 80 arrived on scene and reported nothing visible on "A" side. Crews determined the cause was an overheated motor on a washer-dryer combination. Farmington called back in service at 22:12. Responding units were Farmington 80, 812, Victor 270, 2701, 2711, 2731.

Farmington was called out mutual-aid to Main Street, Palmyra (Wayne County) for a structure fire. Palmyra arrived on scene with heavy fire showing on the top floor of a 3 story structure. In all, sixteen (16) Fire Departments responded from 3 counties. One building was destroyed and three others heavily damaged as the fire traveled through walls and common cock-lofts, leaving nine homeless and multiple businesses destroyed. Farmington pumper rescue 811 responded along with Assistant Chief 802. Upon arrival they laid 1200' of 5" LDH to supply Macedon's quint and one ground monitor. Farmington called back at 19:34.

Farmington Fire along with Port Gibson, Manchester and Macedon Fire, dispatched under MABAS, were toned out for smoke in the house and a possible chimney fire. 802 arrived on scene with nothing showing on the A-B sides. He further reported that the wood stove pipe had disconnected and all mutual aid companies could stand-by in quarters. Farmington firefighter extinguished the fire in the stove and checked for extensions into the walls. No problems were found. Units called back in service at 22:58.
